My 4" Scale Ruston & Proctor Traction Engine

This is the first time it has been seen on its wheels
27th  April 2000

June  27th 2000
Photos of the engine in motion, using compressed air.
Using air and plenty of oil to run in the motion work.

With its back wheels off the ground, it is a chance
to bed in all the gears removing the high spots.
The pressure required to keep it turning
is only 15 lb/ 1.0Bar.

Early July 2000

p.s. Not a lot has been done since 2000,
one day I will start again to finish it !
